Filippo Oliva

FILIPPO OLIVA started his career at a Big Four accounting firm in Milan working on audits of financial statements of large companies operating in a broad range of industries. He joined Funaro & Co. in 2011, where he continued to work on accounting and audit matters for US subsidiaries of Italian multinational groups operating in industries such as luxury goods, real estate, food & beverage, industrial equipment and chemicals. He has an extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).

In 2013, Mr. Oliva relocated to Florida to establish and organize Funaro & Co.’s Miami office. He has contributed to the expansion of the Miami office and is responsible for the firm’s local operations.
 
Fluent in English and Italian, Filippo Oliva fully understands the business culture of his international clients. He specializes in assisting Italian companies that wish to establish and operate a subsidiary in the United States, taking a proactive approach on the critical matters related to the internationalization of their business operations.

During his tenure with Funaro & Co., Mr. Oliva worked as interim CFO for a large international manufacturing company based in Miami.

Filippo Oliva holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Roma Tor Vergata and a Master’s degree from the University of Roma Tre. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
