Luca Torre

LUCA TORRE obtained his Master’s Degree in Economics in 2009 and a Professional Master in Administration, Finance, and Management Control from the University of Pisa in 2010.

 

Luca began his career at a Big Four accounting firm in Italy, working as an Audit Manager for both large and small companies, including listed companies in Italy and Italian subsidiaries of international groups operating in a broad range of industries.

 

In 2017, he joined Funaro & Co. at the Miami office, where he continued to focus on accounting and audit matters, consulting, and due diligence for US subsidiaries of Italian multinational groups in various sectors such as: Information Technology, Energy & Utilities, Steel manufacturing, Airport services, Mechanical Engineering, Constructions, Food products, and Design.

 

He possesses extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), and Italian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (ITA GAAP).

 

Luca is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maine. He has also been a Dottore Commercialista (Italian Certified Public Accountant) since 2014 and a Revisore Legale dei Conti (Italian Certified Auditor) since 2015.

In 2020, Luca relocated to Italy and established Funaro & Co.’s Bari office, contributing to the firm’s expansion by assuming the role of Principal and overseeing local operations.
