Michael's practice focuses on US domestic corporate income taxation planning and compliance. He has over 30 years experience in public accounting representing clients in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. Tax planning activities include maximizing tax benefits from: structuring corporate acquisitions, domestic production activity deduction, cost segregation studies and R&D Tax Credit. Previously he was Director of Tax services with Weiser LLP, a NY regional accounting firm and before that with Grant Thornton, LLP. He has an LLM in Taxation from NY University, and is an attorney and a CPA in New York State. He has published over 40 articles on taxation which have appeared in the Tax Adviser, The CPA Journal, Taxation for Accountants, Small Business Reports.
