Bennett C. Steinhauer, Director - Tax Advisory Services

Bennett specializes in domestic and international corporate business transactions, tax treaties, real estate transactions and state and local taxation.

Before joining Funaro, Ben was a Senior Manager at Deloitte and Touche where he specialized in corporate transactions.  Prior to that, he was a Senior Attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel for eight years, where he wrote and reviewed private letter rulings and drafted regulations in the mergers and acquisitions area. 

Mr. Steinhauer received his BA from the City College of New York, his JD from the University of Toledo and his LLM from New York University. He is the author of several tax publications and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
